Let's Eat Grandma - Two Ribbons (2022)

British indie-pop duo Let's Eat Grandma, consisting of Rosa Walton and Jenny Hollingworth, will launch a new album in April 2022: "Two Ribbons" is the name of the record, which the two musicians already announced in 2021 with the single "Hall Of Mirrors" and the title track.

For the first time in Let's Eat Grandma's discography, the songs on the album can be clearly attributed to Walton and Hollingworth, respectively. The title track and album closer is a Hollingworth song that reflects on their relationship. And in contrast to the upbeat synth-pop of the previous single, "Two Ribbons" is a slow and meditative ballad.

"'Two Ribbons' is a song I wrote for and about two of the closest people in my life, and how my relationship with them has changed over time through loss and life changes. It touches on the isolating experience of grief, our powerlessness in the face of death, and the intuitive emotions of grief," Hollingworth said in a statement.

A total of ten new songs await on "Two Ribbons", the third album of the band from Norwich, the successor to "I, Gemini" (2016) and "I'm All Ears" (2018), which reached number 28 in the UK charts.
