You'll start with the business case: what FedRAMP is, why it unlocks federal sales, and how the 2026 landscape is changing as the program rolls out FedRAMP 20x, a push for roughly 20x faster authorization. You'll learn the three impact levels (Low, Moderate, High) and how to choose your path now that the JAB is gone and agency authorization is the route. From there, the course walks the authorization process end to end: finding an agency sponsor (and the new sponsorless 20x path), budgeting time, money, and team, and building your security foundation — NIST 800-53 baselines, the System Security Plan, and a well-drawn authorization boundary.

You'll get a clear introduction to FedRAMP 20x Key Security Indicators (KSIs) and OSCAL, then move through working with a 3PAO, the assessment package and agency review, and earning your ATO.
