In this course, you will learn the basics required to understand and take ownership over some Bitcoin. This is a Bitcoin-only course, and we will specifically explain why other cryptocurrencies are illegitimate. You will learn the basics of why Bitcoin is a revolutionary computer science innovation, and how it differs from other cryptocurrencies. Additionally, you will be guided through the process of purchasing Bitcoin, and learning to withdraw it into your own personal custody: where you own it outright, with no counter party risk or danger of fraud. In order to complete this course, you will likely want to purchase some hardware devices and other products that is required to self-custody bitcoin securely. Contrary to popular belief, the ownership and safeguarding of your Bitcoin assets is done in the physical world. Here in this course, I will walk you through the necessary steps of how to do this, and how to properly understand what is going on so you can feel confident and safe in our ownership. If you don't have private keys, then you do not have any Bitcoin.
